Mersad Cavcic joined Globalstar in 2024 as Chief Marketing Officer and leads the product management and global marketing teams. Prior to Globalstar, Mersad served as VP of Product Management at Pivotal Commware from 2018 to 2024, where he played a leading role in the development and commercialization of mmWave 5G technologies and products.

Before his tenure at Pivotal, Mersad was the Principal Solutions Architect at Kymeta Corporation from 2014 to 2018. He was instrumental in developing ground terminals for mobility Ku/Ka band satellite services and establishing global satellite network in an MVNO format. Mersad began his career at The Boeing Company, focusing on tactical communications systems within the Boeing Research and Technology division.

Mersad's expertise is in developing product and go-to-market strategies for emerging connectivity technologies, with an emphasis on unit economics and industry ecosystem establishment.

Holding BSEE and MSEE degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, Mersad combines technical acumen with strategic business insights to lead and innovate in the tech landscape
